So Today I Ran up to Daddies Board Shop and got a sweet new set up. I got Paris 10 inch trucks and Satori Big Bud 80 mm (about 3 inch) Wheels And I Am Pumped. If you’ve been Practicing my passed lessons you should be ready. If you have smooth concrete out side great if not hit up your nearest school/parking lot thats nice and smooth. Make sure you got the helmet, stand on your board and push. Dont go to fast, keep it mellow get the feel of the board underneath of your feet , push as needed to stay up to speed, carve a lil bit just block everything out but you, the board and the feeling. just feel the muscles in your legs  its probably going to be a new sensation one so pure you’ll feel like your flying and stick with it if you fall get back up and go again.

#2 in blogging

My town of Portland oregon is second in the nation of blogging with nearly 1 out of 7 people have blogged or commented on a blog within the last week

The easiest way to injure your self when your learning comes from falling due to lack of balance. There are two amazingly easy ways to maintain your balance. #1 whip out the closest garbage can with a handle whip out your bodacious board hop on and grab a hold. while doing this wobble from side to side keeping a firm grip this will help you get a feel for important things such as your boards flex, it sweet spot( where you have the best balance for me its in the front but its your personal feel) and just how the board feels. #2 the old phone books finally have a use. this technique is great for if its cold rainy or night and you wanna stay inside. put you board in an open space (make sure all dogs and cats are out of this area so if you fall you dont crush them if you can put your coffee table in the doorway to the living room) put two phone books at both ends (bricks or scrap wood will work) and stand up hold on to a bar stool if possible. the great thing about this method is you can watch the tube you know catch a little house or cop show is what i enjoy and if its winter you can stand in the heat drinkin coffee or in the summer stand with the a/c on drinkin a slurpee. In the conclusion balance after you get the basics down and you can ride the board will be practiced whenever you ride because whenever you make a turn you re-adjust your balance to make sharper or wider turns.
